Indian destination weddings from

Los Angeles & Orange County

We plan Hindu, Sikh, Gujarati, Punjabi and fusion destination weddings for families here, and we have been doing it for over thirty years. Below is what is specific to your market: the airport, the realistic routings, and the local considerations that decide how many of your guests actually come.

Departure airport

LAX / SNA / ONT

Los Angeles, John Wayne and Ontario International
Region

California

Communities we serve

Artesia, Cerritos, Irvine, Torrance, Diamond Bar, Chino Hills, Northridge

Where you can fly nonstop

Cancun, Los Cabos, Puerto Vallarta, Honolulu, Liberia, Dubai

Flight length moves your attendance rate more than almost anything else you decide. A guest who will happily fly three hours will think twice about seven with a connection, and that difference shows up in your final headcount. When guests are departing from three or more cities, a group air contract usually beats individual bookings on both price and flexibility.

Planning a wedding from this market

Artesia's Pioneer Boulevard is the oldest Indian commercial district on the west coast, and the Southern California South Asian community is both large and unusually spread out, from Cerritos through Irvine to Chino Hills and up into the Valley. That geography has a practical consequence: guests are already used to driving an hour to a wedding, so the psychological barrier to flying three hours to one is lower than in more concentrated markets.

LAX has the widest nonstop network of any west coast airport for our purposes, including Cancun, Cabo, Puerto Vallarta, Liberia and Honolulu, plus direct service to Dubai and Delhi. For a Los Angeles couple, almost every destination on our list is reachable without a connection, which is a genuine advantage when a guest list runs to 250 and includes grandparents.

Where to start

Most families begin with a conversation about guest count and budget, then work backwards to a shortlist of three or four properties that can genuinely handle the events they want. We will tell you honestly if a resort you have fallen in love with cannot do what you need.

Regulatory note
